MY TESTIMONY Welcome. I
am Pastor
Bob Van Dyke. I had my first birth in September of
1942 in
Belton, Texas. I was raised in a wonderful Christian home and
in
good Bible preaching churches. Neither my home life nor my
childhood profession of faith made me a Christian.
In December of 1970, after being under much conviction of my helplessness to deliver myself from my own sin, I cried unto the Lord and was born again! Forgiven, clean, and free, it was but a short time before I yielded to God's call to the ministry. It has been my blessing that God counted me faithful putting me in the ministry. In July 2009, I celebrated 30 years at Candlestick Baptist Church. God has given us wonderful people who love Him, His Word, and His Ministry. We are a Bible preaching, Christ centered church. You are wanted and you will be welcome to worship and serve the Lord with us. |
