Who We Are

Candlestick Baptist Church is an independent assembly of baptized believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, who have covenanted together to accomplish the will of God as determined by the Bible. Our message is salvation by God's grace through faith in His only begotten Son. He, being born of a virgin and living a sinless life, purchased those who would repent (turn to God from sin and self centeredness) and receive Him.

The Price of Salvation was the death of Jesus Christ by the shedding of His blood.

The Promise of Salvation was evidenced by the resurrection of our Lord Jesus from the dead.

The Proof of Salvation is in the new life given to those who believe and willfully submit themselves to Jesus, whom God the Father has made to be both Lord and Christ.

The Preaching of Salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ is necessary in this world of sin and despair since there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.
